I'm starting to think that maybe the new Avengers title is a larger roster with a Mission Impossible style team. Perhaps led by Steve Rogers? The Avengers in effect replacing HAMMER and SHIELD in the Marvel U?

With JR jr on art duties, I'm also thinking they are going with a more than monthly schedule like Ultimate Spiderman when Bagley was drawing or Amazing Spiderman consolidating all the Spider-titles last year?

So Cancel four Avengers titles and replace them with one Tri or Bi-Monthly Avengers book? I think they already confirmed Avengers Initiative is being replaced by Avengers Academy or whatever.

Where would you guys like to see the Dark Avengers characters (those that survive) end up? Back in Thunderbolts? Back as villains fighting the heroes in the heroes books (Venom back in Spiderman, Bullseye back in Daredevil)? A Suicide Squad type title? Super Villain Teamup?

Who says that's the same Avengers book Romita Jr is even doing? Looks like there will be two Avengers books. All the promo artwork for the main book with the big line up has Romita artwork, the only overlap being Hawkeye. Not sure what is up with Gorilla Man being on the team since as far as I know Agents of ATLAS is still together.
