I did not understand the whole Mera & Wonder woman under the lasso thing. Was WW saying she was in love with Batman? And what was Mera's story anyway that she has all the rage about?

Sorry if I'm being stupid here, but I didn't get quite what was going on there.

I think Blackest Night WW Is the Weekest Book of the 3issue Mini's...
The 1st Issue was Fantasic..., then the Consistant Jumping around in Part 2 ..., Left me Not caring about the book so Much.

The Diana/Bruce relationship has been played up in the past....and of course Byrne played up the relationship with Kal-El before....and then there's the crush between her and Aquaman that was hinted at too....Hmmmmm Wonder Woman sure gets around.

Mera Might also Be P/O'ed because no One really ever gave her this sorta Attention in 6Months Before ,.. let Alone 1 of the Main Character's in An Event... She Might be Confused.

Not reading the series, but Mera has been handled inconsistently since they killed Arthur Jr. Half the time she was certifiably nuts. At one point, it was revealed that living in our dimension was driving her mad.

So she's got issues aplenty to be all Red Lantern ragey.

I remember that she did have to leave Earth because our water drove her crazy.

And now she's raging mad royalty from Atlantis that they don't know how to handle...hey, that sounds familar....oh, lord, please don't tell me she's gonna lose a hand & grow a beard!

Given the fact that the Spectre stepped on Atlantis and Aqualad/Tempest is dead too would add to her temper. Lots to be angry about. Although if the Spectre is standing right there, you'd think she'd have a grudge to settle the tall goatee in the green hood.

Man, the more I read about this event the stupider it sounds. Hopefully this is leading to a grand cosmic reset, sounds like most of the DCU is dead or has Lantern rings despite already having powers of their own. Flash with a GL ring sounds like something a 10 year old would come up with.

The "Flash-as-Blue-Lantern" plot device is only temporary....I wouldn't get all worked up about it. At least it's not going to be as long as a "Dick Grayson-as-Batman" plot device and last over two years when all is said and done.

^ Yeah but we're worried about a Blue Lantern Flash that will be around for maybe 5 issues tops.....(between the main series and appearances in the Blackest Night Flash mini).
