Humor vs Action. Cartoons vs Comic books.

For some reason Humor does not work on me in Comics. I prefer it in cartoons. And Action doesnt work for me in Cartoons, I prefer comic books.

Sure there are exceptions. But nothing Major other than Newsapaper strips like Calvin and Hobbes and Far Side.

I guess thats ANOTHER reason I cant get into CGI, unless it's a Pixar type kids comedy.

Maybe you're perusing the wrong stuff? I'm the opposite with the action thing; I think it works best in cartoons.
