    DC reprinting Marvel's Doc Savage!!



    guessing that hte Marvel Two in One issue won't make the reprints?

        it's becasue the material rights are held by the writer not Marvel. Same thing happens with licensed stuff like Star wars, Gijoe, transformers, Doctor who etc. Work marvel did for all these properties has been reprinted by several other companies because Marvel doesn't own the material (doctor who and gijoe have been to a couple of compaines each)

            I wonder if they will re-publish the B/W magazines as well?

            Oddly, I think these comics are pretty much available if you searched them out. They've always been pretty inexpensive, with a little looking, you could probably pick up the run cheaper than you would pay for the trade. And also grab the two Doc Marvels that WON'T be re-printed at DC: Marvel Two in One #21 and Giant-Size Spider-Man #3.

              I'm sure any work they reprint will be "updated" with the modern color palette (see IDW's Doctor who classics)
