Looks like Benjamin Grimm is wearing his old Thing suit from the 70s with that seam down the center...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging! -

But Red Hulks a "Good Guy" Now, working with Banner,... So Obviously Ben got them all retro-70's shorts out for nothing.
Again,... they need to put sleeves on Reed's shirt ...., it just looks wrong.Last edited by BlackKnight; Jan 14, '10, 11:56 PM.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

No...the 190s you're in to the Byrne era on Avengers I think.... (or where you taking about the Fantastic Four title?)...the issue I'm referring to is during the 1st Perez run.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Did some double-checking....The Thing's exo-skeleton debuted in 1976 in F.F. #169 and lasted 'til #175. He regained his powers at that point. Since then the suit has popped up every now and again.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Did Reed build the Exo-Suit? You have to wonder how much Reed secretly likes to torture Ben if he knows that Ben hates being The Thing. Rather than build him an exo suit that looks like a sleek and shiny suit of armour like Iron Man, he decides to torture Ben by making him wear a Thing costume.
And rather than suggest Ben get counseling when Reed realized it's a psychological issue rather than a physiological problem that prevents Ben from turning back and forth to his human form (like The Torch does), Reed just shrugs his shoulders and let's Ben continue to think he's trapped as The Thing.

No wonder Ben's all "***? WHY DON'T I GET PAID?!"
We don't find out the answer until recently during JMS' run where it's revealed that Ben actually owns a quarter of the Fantastic Four Corporation.
Showing once again what a Jerk Reed actually is for not even telling Ben he's a Billionaire, until Reed and the others are broke.

However, that was no where near as good as the time LUKE CAGE got stiffed by Doctor Doom. SO HE TRAVELS ALL THE WAY TO LATVERIA TO COLLECT $200. The lesson being, LUKE GETS PAID!

Yeah that was part of the whole storyline....Ben loses powers, Reed hires Power Man, Reed builds Ben exo-skeleton, Ben gets powers back.....Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Are they going to do a Darkest Night type of thing and have Hulks in a bunch of differnt colors? Or is it just going to be the two green and two red Hulks? You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment
