I hated this guy at first but now I can't get enough. I have a custom Sentry figure flying above my cabinets on an clear fishing line string. He is really cool and there is something about this guy I like (besides the fact he looks like me sota )
More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...
Any guesses what the serum Norman's been giving him will really do to him?
In the 616 universe, has it been established that the Goblin serum was supposed to be a Super Soldier serum? (like the Ultimate U and the Movie?)
It would be an interesting connection since Norman claims Bob's Sentry serum is also supposed to be a Super Soldier serum attempt. If Captain America is "Weapon 1" and Woverline is "Weapon 10", perhaps Bob is one of those programs between the two?
Looks like he shaved so he could be more girly with his blond hair.
I thought Sentry was awesome looking when he had long hair with the beard. It was something I really liked about him. When I did my custom of Sentry I decided to go with that look because I think it made him stand out.
You are right, shaved he looks girly (because most artists don't capture long haired men wearing yellow spandex too well)
Even Thor looks like a tranny by some artists. When they updated his armor costume in the later 90s is when Thor started to become more masculine.
I don't think you've done a Thunderbolt world Sentry yet, have you? Curious what you would do to him. Make sure you give him a beard.

^^^Ummm, you should see me. I just don't like long flowing locks on dudes, I wear mine tied up.
That's cool. No offense, I don't know why but I always pictured John Lovitz when you talk in a post or something. Not sure why I got that vision in my head. Maybe it was the screen name that somebody had on another board that looked like that.
Honestley, I never thought I would have been in a professional band and moved over to a group of guys who take the business serious and live for the music. I started out doing music as a hobby when I was a teenager and always had long hair.
I cut my hair about two years ago when the band took a year off after some long and bad drama that almost killed the band but when we returned in late 2007 they all mentioned and agreed that short hair on me didn't work (I had begun to grow it back).
When my hair was short for those few months, I did notice a lot of different things. It was nice to get a lot of respect from elderly people and it felt like more people talked more nice to me when I cut my hair. I know that sounds weird. I have had this conversation with my friend Mark Stalcup (think he is a member here still) he cut his hair once...etc....noticed some things like that to.
The weirdness about long hair on men seems to come from where I just live. The city I live in is Janesville, Wisconsin. It is a very preducide and stereo type community of finger pointers.
Our band usually travels to the bigger cities like Madison or Milwaukee to perform. We have done some local shows at the rock club in Janesville and it was a big spectical because of our "appearance" it was treated as an entertainment show.
A bigger city....the only thing people really notice that "stands out" about us is the funky makeup. I am not why that is. Long hair on men is just taboo to some people. It's funny and I will never get it.
I know everyone has event fatigue, but with something happening with the Phoenix force over in X-Men, Franklin Richards playing with pocket universes he shouldn't be in FF, and the recent appearance of Molecule Man, you have to wonder if some kind of Battle Royale between folks with Reality Warping powers is getting ramped up. Where is Scarlet Witch these days? Still hiding out in the backwoods? Toss in Loki and you can imagine the kind of nervous breakdown the Sentry would experience in that kind of environment!
