I wouldn't put it past them. Sadly, I think that's what they're probably going to do.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

            THANK YOU..!!!

I always thought that both her and Maquire were badly miscasted.., she was definitely NOT HOT.

NONE of the original chemistry in the comics was evident between them. I even thought Topher Grace would have made a better Peter Parker.

Making it set back in the 60s as a vintage piece would have been a nice touch as well. If it's filmed smartly enough, creating a 'vintage-look' film wouldn't cost much more than a contemporary film. Studios do it all the time.

Like most here, the first film was the best. Get this Hollywood..: I like ONE Hero, ONE Villain, THAT'S IT.

It always irritates me when studios want multiple villains in one movie. It ruins the building of psychological drama, the suspense/tension between Hero and Villain.

            Always does.

I always thought that was one big problem with the '66 Batman movie. I know it's supposed to make the movie 'grander in scale' but you sacrificed so much of the original formula and flavor of tv show, just for more action, then made the villain's personalities even less distinctive overall.

Same for the '90s Batman franchise, 'Batman Returns' on forward. It's also a big reason why Burton's first Batman film worked nicely.

            Just my two cents.

^^^^ Dark Knight proved that multiple villains can work.
