I'm sure the filmmakers will utilize Hair Dye if they deem it appropriate, but I don't think it's as essential. Is Carol really as iconic as Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy, Black Widow or Baroness (who all had their respective actresses dye their hair or use wigs or whatever to get the right hair colour).

Although you do have Erica Durance rockin' some blondish highlights for her Lois Lane over in Smallville.

Even though he's cast as Hal, I can't help but think Ryan's performance will be more "Kyle" in nature.

I hope the screenwriters tapped into Hal and not Kyle. I think Reynolds will do fine as long as the script is good. he has more range than many give him credit for.

To me his best performance is in a romcom called "Definitely, Maybe." He was also very good in a supporting role in "Adventureland."

I thought dark-haired Jessica Alba was an odd choice to play blonde Sue in the Fantastic Four movies but she pulled it off.
