Aquaman's voice: Marvin Miller or Norm Alden?

Which voice do you think better suits Aquaman? Marvin Miller (the '67 cartoon) or Norm Alden (Superfriends)? Personally I like Marvin Miller. When I think of Norm Alden, I think of the Krofft series Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, (he played Frank Heflin).

    What do you think?
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

Marvin Miller....Alden's Aquaman doesn't sound tough enough....no wonder he always had to ride shotgun in the Invisible Jet....

Norm Alden will always be Aquaman to me.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Personally, I think Norm Alden's voice is tons more "unique" or "memorable"
than Miller's (therefore more prefrable)...but that doesn't negate the
fact that Miller's was the first version I embraced...I loved that cartoon
and it forever established Aquaman as one of the most important heroes in
the DCU or Marvel U for me despite all the flack he got in the last few
            decades.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

                  I think I prefer Miller.

Who did the voice in later SF episodes--I remember it changed along the way & I was very upset as a kid!

(I also remember being shocked as an adult when I saw Olan Soule [Batman's voice] on Andy Griffith--he looks like the stereotype of a librarian lol.)

Alden comes to mind quicker, as I didn't see the Filmation toons till the were released on those Super Powers labeled videos of the late 80s. But Miller had a good, heroic voice.

I love the fact that Rob got Alden to record that greeting at the Aquaman Shrine. That's just the coolest.

I've gotta go with Norm Alden also. Miller was also great in retrospect but Aldens is the voice I hear in my head when I think of Aquaman.

The man who succeeded Norman Alden as Aquaman was named Bill Callaway. He's also gone by William Callaway. He also voiced over Bizarro as well. In other animation, he was one of the leads on the Hair Bear Bunch, he was Frankie on the Drak Pack, and on G.I.JOE, he used a Louisiana voice and was Beach Head.

                        Cheers.

You feel the same way when you see Bud Collyer (the pre Superfreinds voice of superman) or even Kevn Conroy. their voices have power their bodies don't reflect

Well, I think there is a notable difference in body type/facial features
between a man like KEVIN CONROY and a man like OLAN SOULE.
I mean, CONROY actually has a little bit of "heroeyness" about him.
SOULE has that "librarian" look, eh?

I misread who was who I mean Miller as I prefer the filmation aquaman voice.
I knew that's what you had to have intended with you saying "Tadpole."

As much as I prefer Alden's voice, it's catchphrases like "Tadpole"
"Minnow" and all the other differences that made Filmation's Aquaman unique
that makes Miller's version virtually just as vital to me and my nostalgia.
