Twisted Tales, definitely. The Warren mags came close; but they were a weird hybrid of mainstream comic/old school anthology book in both presentation and content. So I kinda see them as their own thing. (Although I found out later they were reminiscent of the contemporary European style of comic.)
Big fan of Wrightson's Creepshow....I remember getting everyone turned on to this in the jr. high lunchroom before any of us saw the actual film (on HBO). At the time, we didn't realize this was the same guy who did the magnificent Swamp Thing.
