After reading all of those episode synopsis (what's the plural of synopsis? synopsi?) it's clear to me that this series is the BEST. DC. CARTOON. EVER.

Yep James Tucker and Bruce Timm should be the ones the PTB's in DC talk to for new ideas instead of sounding off each other to come up with grandiose crossovers schemes to boost lagging sales

Just FYI for you fans of James Tucker, he drew a "lost" Batman story for Batman #600 in Dick Sprang style. It's the best part of the issue, since the rest is mired in that god-awful "Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive" crud Rucka unleashed on us.

So, The Metal Men tonight...gotta say, I was really hepped for it and kinda let down at first. Maybe I was too excited over seeing the MM. And then the Gas Gang appeared in their original Silver Age forms...Yowzah! Coolness!!!

But why was Dr. WILL Magnus renamed MILTON Magnus?

Faceless Hunter from Saturn as well...man, the writers are just goin' crazy here! It's like a dam broke with all this Silver Age goodness! I geekafy on this show!!!

I LOVED IT! Was wondering the same thing about Magnus' name change. And how cool was the "To Be Continued" teaser with Starro?! Awesome show!

I thought Tin stutters? Wonder why they didn't use that?

^ He does.....maybe they couldn't find a voice actor to do the written word justice?

They were afraid the League of Repetitive Speech Enhanced Individiuals would get offended.

I was perplexed by Milton Magnus as well. Is there some other character named Will Magnus on some other cartoon, movie, comic, etc? I know one of Magneto's many names was Magnus, but that didn't stop them from using the proper last name.

Fun episode though. Loved the Starro intro.

Yeah, I'm sure they removed Tin's stutter because it might offend somebody.

I don't know of any other Magnus, but maybe it's tied up in some licensing deal somewhere like the Metamorpho thing. Idiotic lawyer crap.

I'm guessing the Starro thing will be leading up to a big series finale. Maybe some space heroes will show like Adam Strange or Space Ranger. From the rest of the '60s cameo stuff, I'd really hope we are headed toward a Batman & The Atomic Knights episode. I'd probably pee myself then.

Whats the deal with this starfish to be continued story? What was the first part of this arc?

Starro the Conqueror....old-school JLA foe....goes all the way back to their first appearance in Brave and the Bold #28. My guess is there will be a series of these "to be continued" teasers where he takes control of heroes, leading up to a finale where Batman and others fight against their own.

I've been catching up on this show via X-Box live/Zune and I LOVE IT! Could possibly be my favorite Batman cartoon of all-time.

Starro (or his starfish minions) have appeared twice now, both in teasers. First he took over the Challengers of the Unknown, now Aquaman and family and all of Atlantis.

I'm glad Starro is being used better here than in Batman Beyond.
