I am extremely disappointed with this look. This costume could have been done way better then this. This looks like some bum with a bunch of scrap yard parts taped to him. Lame.

I am still not happy with the black Nick Fury. If you are going to do a Marvel movie based on a Marvel character, the whole Ultimate comics **** needs to stay there. Nick Fury is not a black man!!!

Hard to believe just how much Whiplash sucks. Like I said in the trailer post, hoping it's a prototype and he gets a better suit later.

Only complaint would be the Whiplash outfit. Black Widow looks great and true to the comics. And War Machine looks awesome. The first one was just excellent, so hoping for a successful sequel here.

Right. Everything else looks cool but that Whiplash needs to come up about 50 notches before I'll buy into this.
I really hope that is like an "early prototype" of his suit and toward the end or the middle of the movie he slides into a costume that looks a little more like something we've seen in the comics.

My guess on Whiplash. He's a leftover cold war supporter who blames Stark Industries for something or another, and uses Stark tech to try and teach Tony a lesson. Black Widow is a Russian agent sent to stop him. Just a guess.

Yeah Whiplash seems even lamer than his comic book counterpart (What? No ponytail and cape for this guy? ). And the addition of Sam Rockwell as the other villain (Justin Hammer) doesn't spark my interest either. For me the appeal will be seeing Downey back in the suit and being Tony Stark. Oh and the Black Widow too....Those are the selling points for me for this pic. The villains leave a lot to be desired.

Marvel is so arrogant about their movies. But few have actually been good... I'm not looking forward to this sequel, although Black Widow looks cool.

Right! The Mandarin to me is the oriental guy with the robes and the wicked looking mustache and the finger nails and rings.....Marvel really dropped the ball on the Eurasian bonehead looking guy. I think they realized that and decided to shove it under a rug for he sequel.

I like the reworked whiplash over the goofy comics version, it makes a lot more sense. Especially if he is sort of a garage created villain. As far as Mandarin goes, bet there is a tease for him setting up the threequel. Sam Jackson doesn't bother me one bit, at least they got the coolest cat they could to play Fury.

You think this looks stupid? I think if they used the costuming styles they used in Watchmen this outfit would have looked wicked. I don't care for "Garage sale" Whiplash I am seeing in those previous pictures.

As for Mandarin?

Ironman 3? (if they make it that far after that bad Whiplash ruins it)

I am hoping that goofy Eurasian guy turns out to be just a "goon" and the real Mandarin shows up and cuts the guy's hands off and puts his rings on and says,

"Thank you for gathering these for me."



That Eurasian goof ball is almost as bad of a mistake as the lame "Doctor Doom" that was in those Fantastic Four movies. "Doctor Doom's" wussy voice and powers killed it. I loved that movie but that "Doctor Doom" was wrong in so many ways.

Honestly, that lame direct to VHS Fantastic Four movie's Dr. Doom looked way better then Julian McMahon's lame portrayal. I almost threw up in my popcorn everytime he came on the screen.

I am hoping if they bring Mandarin in the movie. They do it the way I said above.
