Looking forward to Dynamiate having both Green Hornet and Lone Ranger

With Lone Ranger writer Brett Matthews on board for an arc of the new Green Hornet comic, I'm hoping they will do a bit of crossover with the Lone Ranger. They gave a nod to it in the Now Comics GH series, but it would be great to see a kind of "Legacy" storyline where they can actually acknowledge the connection.

Isn't Britt Reid either the great-grandson or great-nephew of the Lone Ranger?

I'd like to see that kind of plotline, maybe where Britt is talking to his kids about their ancestor, and how he took up the identity of the Lone Ranger, and how they can never tell anyone on account of it's still too dangerous for people to know about it.

Originally Great Nephew I think. Given the amount of time that has passed since they introduced that concept, I'm sure there is probably a couple of more Greats added in there.

John Reid's nephew (son of his dead brother Dan) is a character in the current Lone Ranger series from Dynamite.

I did love the fact that the NOW series really explored the Legacy aspect of The Green Hornet, even before it was in vogue! It really managed to cohesively put together different elements into one family history, seperating the Radio Hornet and TV Hornet into two characters (a namesake nephew), and the eighties Hornet, Paul Reid of the Now Comics was in fact the fourth person to take the mantle (after his brother... a bit like Starman).

I've just recently caught up with Lone Ranger via trades. You'd think with the Johnny Depp as Tonto Lone Ranger film coming out, Dynamite would want to hold onto that license!
