Blackest Night: Who Else Is Trying to Read It All?

For the first time in my life...I am a complete sucker and I am loving EVERY minute of it.

Usually, I stick to the most basic of issues, but with this event, I am "all-in".

Anyone else finding this to be fun? No matter if you are faithfully buying every book...Is there enough of an event there to make you buy more than you thought you would because you find it to be more enjoyable than you thought it would be?

      I don't think I've missed anything yet...even the R.E.B.E.L.S. tie-in....in fact, I may stay on R.E.B.E.L.S. even past the cross-overs.

I have found that to be the case for me, as well....all of the cross-over stuff has peaked my interest in the title that carried it. My personal favorite is the Adventure Comics stuff. A fight in the halls and cubicles of DC Comics??!!!....Brilliant!

I have now read/bought over 50 books and that is something I have NEVER done before. If I didn't find this so enjoyable, I would have not put the effort/money I have into the whole thing, but I have found it all to be more than worth it.

Not ONE letdown in the whole mix.

I'm hooked and I don't usually follow comics.

It's got me, too. I thought the Wonder Woman #1 was great story telling.

I gave up. It was fun in the beginning but now with the multi colored lanterns from all over popping up along with dead characters showing up with black lantern rings, I'm just waiting for it to get over with now.
I thought it was going somewhere and I actually enjoyed it when Sintestro started a yellow fear corps of aliens but now it is going over bored and becoming "over done". I am a big fan of Hal Jordan but this is turning into a snoozefest. Hopefully something will be done to climax this whole thing.

...and as for the "dead heroes". You know dang well that Martian Manhunter, Aquaman and probably Ralph and his wife are going to "come back to life" and be reinstated back to the world of the living. This is how DC will "Cheese out" to bring these guys back. Perfect opportunity. I can see this a mile away.

                      Make mine Marvel (for now!)

Personally I'm doing the opposite of reading them all.

I'm waiting for trade paperbacks. I started reading the basic issues but couldn't follow it. I figure if I get collected sets it will be cheaper and everything I need will be included.
