A Blackest Night Theory

Hawk became Monarch, then became Extant after absorbing Waverider. He was killed in an issue of JSA after being replaced in a doomed aircraft by Atom Smasher. Orginally Extant doomed the plan with Atom Smashers mother. Through some time travel, AM replaced Extant and saved his Mom. Why Hank Hall appears as BL Hawk and not BL Extant, I have no idea. Hope that clears that up.

I read some of whatnot,.. when He was disclosed as the Monarch in the Future..., however got lost somewhere's ... and never took the time to go back and figure out what was going on ... To be Honest up until a few yrs back..., I just thought He was a shelved character,.. Until the Female version of Him Showed up., then it was said somewhere's He was Dead with Dove. Now,.. I know Dove was dead for a Long Time,.. since the Kesel and Robby Run of Hawk and Dove ...., where the Female Dove came into Play. Now,.. I dunno or don't remember if this Female Dove that is current,.. is the same 1 that was in those books,.. but I guess it really doesn't Matter, I was just hoping for some clarification on the Dead Hawk.

I will bet my Beatle LP collection that Aquaman and Martian Manhunter and a few others will be "brought back to life" when this is all over.
It stinks like a stunt to bring some heroes back. I just know it!

Right. I was thinking anything is possible after Captain Carrot and his Zoo Crew came riding in and saving the day at that hunk of **** they called Final Crisis.

Pretty sure the Blackest Night Wonder Woman is not Hipplolyta. She was brought back to life a year or so ago and has been hanging out on the Island.
Plus in Blackest Night Wonder Woman, Diana is fighting a reanimated Max Lord, drawing her into all this.

So you don't actually have to be dead for the ring to take over? Or does it count if you WERE dead and came back to life? Because I really didn't understand the Superboy-Prime thing in this week's Adventure Comics either.

Apparently in Blackest Night # 5 ..., Threw the Dead Corps Of Bruce ( Even though he seemed to be split Into 2 different Bodies right now or whatever, there is still a Corps of Him in current time ) , Black Hand and Nekron were able to channel the Black Ring or rather Power of the Dead to Take over The Hero's that have either "Died" or were "Close to death" then Brought back, convert them into Black Lanterns ... Thus Wonder Woman, Superman, Conner, Bart Allen AND Donna Troy are all Black Lanterns Now ..., the Book ended with Black Rings chasing Hal Jordan and Barry Allen. It appears even with the Rainbow Bright Gathering..., all is lost ....

You seriously don't need to read the cross-overs to enjoy the main story....it adds to it but it's not necessary.....

You might need to read the 2 or 3 issues of Green Lantern... Where Hal takes off ..., and then Comes back all Care Beared up with everyone ..., I could see someone getting lost there ...

When I saw part one of the list BK posted a while back, I was done with it. It really screamed event and money grubbing. All over a skittles colored plotline.

^^^most of the Tie-ins outside of GL & GL Corps..., you don't seem to have to read any of them to get the jist of the story... Like the Blackest Night Superman, Batman, Titans, WW, Flash ... they all are thier own seperate stories it appears..., and then stuff like the Booster Gold 2 issue Arc seems slef contained.

I am really enjoying the whole storyline. Yes it is an event cross over designed to sell books in crappy titles like Doom Patrol and Booster Gold, but as part of the overall storyline it is really cool.

Booster Gold is anything but crappy....probably one of DC's best reads today.
Unfortunately, it's VERY underated, as is writer/artist Dan Jurgens.

BoosterGold is that 1 Book , outta Not so many ,.. that you could seriously throw out there,... and slap in someone's face that wants to repeatidly ***** week in and week out about comics not being like they used to.
