A Blackest Night Theory

Was looking at some of the Preview photos for the Blackest Night action figures, and was struck by a thought. Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Wonder Woman (Hippolyta?), and Firestorm are different from the other Black Lanterns in that they still have some color to them, not strictly B&W. Is this a clue as to which characters will be brought back after the event? Does it signify that they are only "merely dead" and not "sincerley dead".

Because, I think Hawkman was only mostly dead, and not all dead, but if I they show him mumbling "trooo looovve..." I'm out.

It's hard to say with that one. it could be an incredibly subtle hint or pure cooincidence. They may have some slight coloring simply because they are the major players need to be visually separated from the pack.

Interesting theory, though. Good eye.

How is Hawk even Dead ?

Hawk became Monarch, then became Extant after absorbing Waverider. He was killed in an issue of JSA after being replaced in a doomed aircraft by Atom Smasher. Orginally Extant doomed the plan with Atom Smashers mother. Through some time travel, AM replaced Extant and saved his Mom. Why Hank Hall appears as BL Hawk and not BL Extant, I have no idea. Hope that clears that up.
