I was trying to find an image of Walt Disneys Christmas Parade (one of my favourites)...and found this instead. Not great, but still a fun read for kids!
I always liked the Rudolph Treasury Editions by DC but my favorite single Christmas-related story is the one from Christmas With the Superheroes #2:
"Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot", where the ghost of Kara Zor-El appears to Deadman. Kara fans had thought her gone and forgotten (never existed they said) until this touching story proved to us all that Kara did indeed exist and would never be forgotten.
I don't remember the issue number or even which title, but it was a Superman story written and drawn by Dan Jurgens that flashed back to his teen years and Clark has a auto accident with Lana and another friend, who died or was injured. Obviously, I don't remember it tremendously well, but I liked it a lot.
Seems like Jurgens did a Suprman Christmas story several years in a row. There was another one that I liked where Supes showed Lois a bunch of letters with people asking for help. That was a pretty good one, too.
Mike Ploog also illustrated a graphic novel adaption of Frank L. Baum's Life and Adventures of Santa Claus about 15 years ago that was beautiful piece of work.

I remember the story but I don't think it was a Christmas story. If I remember right that was part of the Conduit storyline when they retro-fit Kenny Braverman into continuity?
I could be mixing two stories together.

Yeah, the Metropolis Mailbag issue. That is a great read.
Love the DC Christmas with the Super Heroes issues, the first 1 being a reprint collection, and the second one containing some great stories, including the Kara/Deadman story by Alan Brennert and Dick Giordano. The story where Superman stops an attempted suicide by Paul Chadwick (of Concrete fame) is another good one in that issue.
Another great one is the Brave and the Bold with Batman and the Earth 2 Huntress where Bruce is convinced his parents had ties to the mob, and gives up being Batman. Huntress has to convince him to take up the mantle again.
The DCU Holiday Bash comics from the late 90s are also pretty good, the second one has a hilarious Darkseid/Santa Claus story by Ty Templeton.
Unfortunately with comics now at the $4 mark (for some of those "second feature" titles) that makes these "Giants" very, very expensive and a hard pill to swallow. I've been skipping the vast majority of anything "annual-sized" for a few years now. The sticker shock just turns me off.

I like the Archies Christmas comics from the 70s. And I do have the Power Records Christmas w/ Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman record.

Oh yeah! How could I forget those? I always loved the Archie Christmas ones. Still like Archie but only pre-1980ish Archie. The new ones don't really do much for me. I also have the ultra-rare Treasury size Archie Christmas issue.

I'm glad someone else likes Archies. I like the pre-80s too. I always feel so outta the loop when in the comics section, everyone brings up Superheroes and I pull out Archies.
