    The Superman Project (Firestorm)

In The Fury Of Firestorm #4 the revision of the DC Comics about The Superman Project makes sense and connects the "nuclear" heroes as government projects.

I grew up on the Nuclear comics along with the sword and sorcery books. Back in the day where DC Comics play loose with there DC Universe. Firestorm didn't catch in until the second series when he DC Comics began to corral there characters into a proper Universe with guest-stars.

Doomsday Clock had the whole Professor Stein about -face/ back stab and it didn't get any where thanks to Company 'politics' at DC/Warner; so that story will never get told.

The Superman Project first appeared in Doomsday Clock. In a way it continues themes from Grant Morrison 's Doom Patrol run. It revealed years ago that Niles Caulder caused the accidents that created the first Doom Patrol.

It seems the DC mega crossovers are forgotten about and they go back to the proper DC Universe again so I didn't read Doomsday Cloak. Guess I need to skim through it.

In Fury of Firestorm #6, the elemental Firestorm is back! In OSTRANDER Texas!

I just read that. Great custom, I was wondering if he was coming back since DC is re-exploring the elementals again.

Yeah, with the Poison Ivy book. I read Feral Trees, and almost fell off my chair when Kettle Hole Devil showed up. Then BOG Venus in the Poison Ivy book. All from Rick Veitch's run on Swamp Thing. Now the Bad Seeds crossover. All they have to do is turn Red Tornado back into a air elemental again, since he's disembodied again, and I'll be happy.
