In the aftermath of DC K.O., the Justice League has to work even harder to protect mankind—and that means it's time for new blood to face new challenges! Who will join Wonder Woman and Batman to lead the new JLU?

Not sure but behind King Shark it looks like Jarro?

Seems a bit naff. Luthor and Lobo joining the league. But, I will have faith in Mark Waid, providing a good story.

Great to see Red Tornado again! Hope his role doesn't include getting blown up or torn apart for the umpteenth time.

Can you fill me in? That image reminds me of years ago when the Vision decided to take over the world.

The Justice League has a new spec-ops team so covert, the founders can’t know it exists. And its leader is the only hero who could keep JLR off itsradar…because he is the radar. Red Tornado is the heart and mind of the Watchtower—watching, projecting into the future, and his projections point to apocalypse as a direct result of the concentrated power of the JLU. When your Justice League ID card lights up red, Reddy needs you. For the fate of humanity, and for yourself, because you don’t want to find out what Red can do with what he knows about you. Join a best-in-the-biz creative team—Saladin Ahmed (Wolverine, Daredevil) and Clayton Henry (Action Comics, We Are Yesterday)—and an all-star team of heroes, and find out how far they’ll go to keep the peace and keep Red Tornado’s secrets.

Thanks much for the help! Not a series I would have cared much for. Hopefully they take better care of old Reddy in the main series.

yeah, for the most part that is all true. I had heard rumors that the CONSTRUCT was returning, (remember him?) And had taken over Reddy. It may still be that, but as of # 5 it was vague. The mini series ends with # 6. But here is the twist...

Three years ago there was a 6 issue Mini called: One Star Squadron (2022) (lovely name) AND for all intents and purposes, it was pretty much a Red Tornado Mini series!!!! The premise was Reddy had started a EMPLOYMENT AGENCY for superheroes! And had a horde of heroes working or not working as the agency had some hiccups along the way. But the series centered on Reddy/JOHN SMITH and his family of Kathy Sutton (his partner) and Traya (his daughter) as there was almost NO Money coming in and he didn't know what to do to keep the family afloat. In my opinion it was one of the best written series' in a Looong time that I read, as it dealt with the "Human Condition". If I ever meet Mark Russell, (the author), I will gladly buy him a beer!

But the kicker was Reddy/John was HUMAN!

                Flesh & Blood.

Which makes me wonder how and why in three years time he is now an Android again and don't ask me how he got to be Human in the first place as I DON'T read DC comics since 2017(???) except for the JSA and the occasional item. I doubt # 6 if JLR is gonna explain it all and I BLAME all the scheety EDITORS whose job it is to oversee this kind of continuity crap!!
And JLR was not that hott of a read, the plot is kind of eehh and the only thing I liked was the inclusion of DEADMAN on the team.

Even on JLU they screwed up AIRWAVE's background. I have yet to read History of the DCU # 3 & 4 to see how it all ends!!?!?

                Cheers!

Who you gonna call? One-Star Squadron! Meet DC's superhero team where heroism meets capitalism. This ragtag group of heroes led by Red Tornado is here to provide service with a smile. All you must do is send a request via their on-demand hero app and...
