I am sorry but I Hate it when I read about "superhero" burnout. You never read about cop-burn out, sci-Fi burn out, or even dragon-burnout.

      I. Grew up in the 70's so whenever there was a comic book movie, TV series, or straight to VHS I would watch it because we went stretches without.

Yeah the TV series of Spider-Man and Hulk didn't have villains but we tuned in every week.

Now we have comic book shows everywhere and I do my best to watch them all. So when I read on Twitter, blusky and even here about burned out I just shake my head. Now I am not saying everything that is shown is a perfect, there are lots of shows that I did not like, take in point Walking Dead. Once they discovered that when everybody does they are turned into zombies that ruined they show. Also a wood chipper would and burn pile would have worked. So I wait till the season is over and download it to watch but I still watch ( sometimes on fast forward).

Now there are even some Marvel shows I watched once and would never watch again because I have to attachment to them because they came out after I stopped reading Marvel comics.

Like i said, there were 4 superhero movies this year and a couple of tv shows. The 70s/80s era youre describing these things were few and far between. Thats kind of why i feel like im more thankful it even exists than younger people and take the bad stuff in stride, to a point.
And its not even about if its good or not, i decisively enjoyed 3 out of the 4 movies this year. But there just comes a point when too much becomes too much. I liken it to that feeling of spending a day at SDCC or NYCC and at some point your brain just glazes over from taking in so much info and being stimulated all day.

Went to see it on Friday night (Vintage Johnny and new Ben tagged along.) It's a very good fun movie, but there is a lot of content that moves along at a fairly rapid pace. Would have like to have seen Reed stretch a bit more and a comic book-like Fantasticar, but overall a good film. I will say, however, not as good as Superman.

Watched the movie yesterday night. Was expecting something different as the story line. Still dont know how they will merge that Universe with the ongoing Marvel universe but we will see.

            Not a bad movie.

Agree that Superman was a little better.

My wife likes the FF was better movie, she still said that Cavil was better yesterday... lol

Saw it this afternoon. Wish it was brighter visually like Superman was and it was a little slow in the beginning for me but liked it more towards the end and Sue was the breakout star here IMO. I think Ben should have had a deeper voice but was different for a change in the marvel movies. I forgot a new spiderman movie is next year too. And I think I am back to going out for the movies again.) I haven't since I got HBO Max and Disney plus.

Went to see it today (2nd time) and I do have some observations. (ok,ok a LOT of Observations)

I think it IS set in 2025. How do I figure that out, They is a scene where someone says something and it doesn't JIVE to the 1960's period. It is something someone in 2020-2025 would say. and my brain is sooooo SHOT, I can't remember. Sorry.

Why is Galactus so Wimpy? I mean he gets pushed around so easily and in the comics he is all powerful! Johnny Blinds him and Ben smacks him.

And SUE. Do not get between a mother and her child.

Can we be seeing the origins of MALICE???? When it come to Franklin, sue is ready to kill!

                  You know what is missing.

                  UATU.

The Watcher is a integral part of the FF Legend and with him not around but in the MU, Was there a reason or was there an opportunity for him to have had appear?

                  And...

What becomes of Galactus' WORLD SHIP?

Its in orbit and I know it IS four years later, so it will be interesting to see what the FF or the FF (Future Foundation) has done with it.

The United Nation scene where they pan out to the Ambassadors and you see one country that starts with an 'L" that has no representative there!

                  Hmmmm

The end scene again. What if this person KIDNAPPED Franklin and took off to the MU. Then the Family would give chase no matter where he went and come rescue the kid. (Re: Thunderbolts end scene)

Franklin Richards, A birth in Outer Space. That alone would be scary. IN the comics he and Herbie have a series of MISADVENTURES and as I said before, they are funny! Check em out!

But!What happens when he grows up?

Check out X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST We find out that Franklin marries RACHEL SUMMERS (Scott & Jean's kid) and they have a child.

"ONE IN FIVE, FIVE IN ONE NO ONE HERE GETS OUT ALIVE" (Jim Morrison & the Doors)

Tom DeFalco and Paul Ryan (RIP) created some of the most underrated FF stories that most people don't seem to praise enough.

                  It starts here:

and then goes into here: FF #'s 404-414

                  The child in question is

                  HYPERSTORM!!

And he deserves it. The powers of his Mom (Phoenix) and his Dad (Psi-Lord) he is bad *** and NO ONE can beat him, and the FF barely made it out alive, hence the Doors quote!

I doubt very much they MU will use Hyperstorm, but he has been Waaayyyy over due for a reappearance in the comics!!

All that info just from a second film showing!
