The Sunday Morning Block on Heroes and Icons had an hour of Batman 66 an hour of Wonder Woman and two hours of Superman. I wish she would have done a few hours of Saturday Morning Superhero cartoons on Saturday lol

I got sucked into watching Superman last night, even though I have all the episodes on DVD. Watching it over air was like televised mac n' cheese.

I have them in DVD but once I discovered them on Heroes and Icons on Sunday morning I have watched Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman for at least 4 times each episodes. Really wish they would do the Shazam/Isis hour with it.

My Nephew calls them Adult cartoons and I see no difference.

I still get H&I, but unfortunately, MeTV was dropped by my service several years ago. I'll selectively DVR and watch episodes of Batman '66, when I see they feature actors/villains I remember liking from childhood (such as Caesar Romero and Julie Newmar). Only in recent years, watching on a much bigger TV, did I finally notice Caesar Romero's mustache under the white Joker make-up! The villains made the show for me, as a child watching reruns in the 70s and again now in recent years. The campiness of Batman and Robin themselves (and the fact that, when I was a boy, my own father was in better physical shape than Adam West) was not to my personal taste.

I've tried several times over the years to re-watch Wonder Woman. But I've had the same feeling about WW that I had when I bought the entire Incredible Hulk TV series collection years ago and rewatched every episode (including the later TV movies): the TV of that era simply moved slower (I might say 'plodding') and the actual moments of super hero-ing (especially in Hulk) were comparatively intermittent and brief. That Hulk collection also included an extended interview with the series creator, Kenneth Johnson. In it, he noted that the show had very high female viewership and he considered that validation of his creative vision for the series: to keep the primary focus on individual, unrelated weekly human stories, with the mandatory two 'Hulk Outs' per episode added on top, essentially. Rewatching the entire series as an adult, this was very apparent to me.
