Old Movie Serials Posters as Tin Signs

I’ve been enjoying turning old ads and such into tin signs and added three new ones from the old Batman and Superman movie serials from the forties.
These came out heavy color saturated and glossy. Each printer seems to do things a little differently but still well worth the five dollar price tag

Very nice! I recently watched the 1943 Batman serial for the first time and really liked it. Too bad the original idea of having the Joker in it was replaced due to the insistence of having it have WWII anti-Japanese propaganda in it. But I loved the Bruce/Dick/Alfred bantering dynamic and the introduction of the "Bat's Cave" and grandfather clock entrance to it, which became part of comic book canon. And Lewis Wilson did a great job of portraying the dual-personas of a menacing Batman and a bored millionaire playboy. Douglas Croft was a great Robin too, and I can see the strong influence this serial had on the Adam West/Burt Ward series.

And Alfred as a thin nervous mystery hound was from the second serial. Before that he was a rather rotund klutz.

I absolutely love those, they look amazing great job. I would love to have this one, probably my favorite of the serial’s, Adventures of Captain Marvel (1941)

I couldn’t find that chapter but I found a ton of old posters with different images. Found this one with a different chapter but same main artwork and did a set up on it

The Captain Marvel serial is great fun to watch and a favorite of mine--though, again, I wish it was more like the comic, with the famous subway entrance and ominous statues. As it is, it's more like Indiana Jones, but still good. Spy Smasher is another excellent seral, with some truly daring fight scenes!

Megotastrophe, does the blanket you photographed the signs on happen to be Batman's gray shirt and bat logo?

Temu. They have tons of people doing printing here in the states so you don’t have tariff issues. I have had a couple designs rejected but they are usually fine with whatever I send.
