RIP to comic artist Jackson "Butch" Guice

Several comic creators are reporting the Jackson "Butch" Guice has passed. He drew so many of my favorite comics over the years, from Micronauts, to Superman, to Captain America to Ruse to Doctor Strange to Sword of Atlantis and more. He will be missed, but his legacy will endure. Condolences to his friends and family.

I was sad to hear this. I first encountered him on the first issue of X-Factor, and then the Wally West Flash series. His anatomy was purposefully wonky, but it worked on the Flash, where everyone had isanely long legs and big thighs. I really liked his run on the Superman titles during the glory days of the triangle era, around and during the Death of Superman. He adopted more of a photorealistic approach, but somehow meshed a lot of Kirby influences with it. Really unique and dynamic. RIP.

        RIP
Would've thought he was a little older than he was going by the era I remember seeing his work but i think its just that he broke in pretty young.
