Looney Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up

Well my nephew is on Spring break this week so today was a busy day:
    Pizza Hut buffet
    Bowling
    Movie
    Swimming

So today BF & I took nephew to watch The Day The Earth Blew Up
    IMG_20250318_140752.jpg
"Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth's only hope when facing the threat of alien invasion."

It was a fun movie that had the audience laughing. It like the vintage Looney Tunes but longer. It was nice to see them use Petunia Pig with Porky Pig & Daffy Duck but they were the only LT in the movie. Worth seeing at the theater.

I think I will check this out, kind of surprised that WB went to the trouble of doing a theatrical release. How lone before this ends up on the Cartoon Network???

Petunia has lost some weight! You would have thought they would have made this into a DUCK DODGERS in the 24th and a HALF Century feature?!?!! Eeh...

Remember how Daffy in the 1940's was apeChet cray and just a Barrel of laffs?!?? And in the 60's and 70's when they had Looney tunes on Saturday Morning tv, Daffy turned into an Arsehole! Always crabby and no one liked him and I wonder what happened to him?

Maybe this was the inspiration for Jeff Beck's CONSTIPATED DUCK on his BLOW BY BLOW album? Hmmm...

WB actually sold this movie to a smaller company called Ketchup, now they're also negotiating to release "Acme VS Coyote."

I read about that a few days ago. That seems so insane. WB is run by monkeys on typewriters these days. But maybe they'll get Batgirl released this way too.

I think the monkeys might be an improvement over Zaslav's strip mining.
