Comic Book Wishes

Ever wish that you could change something about your favorite comics from back in the day? As a kid I remember being so stoked when an issue of the Invaders would come out with a Gil Kane cover. I wish that Gil would have taken a turn as interior artist. I also wish that somewhere along the way Marvel would have commissioned Neal Adams to draw his version of Avengers 97. I would have loved to see Neal drawing the golden age heroes.
How about you? What would you like to have seen?

Story wise. Would have been nice if Marv Wolfman's NEW CHAMPIONS were given a chance and not "killed off" (SO they say and think???)

Good question and I apologize for not being more clear. It’s an all-inclusive question. Art, writing, lettering, characters, anything. My two examples just happened to be art related. And I would have gone bananas for a JSA/Invaders mini series!

Dwelling on this, I WISH that Marvel didn't cancel the CREW as they told Christopher Priest BEFORE issue # 1 was released, " You're book is cancelled". He had it all planned out to issue # 7 and it was supposed to be an ongoing. I really wanted to see where the character of JOSIAH-X (Isaiah Bradley's 'son') would have ended up. But he had been SWEPT away and never seen again.


And there is also ALL WINNERS SQUAD BAND OF HEROES that was NEVER Concluded, It stopped at # 5, but it was supposed to be an 8 issue mini. What sucks is I EMAILED Paul Jenkins twice one year and the following year and NO REPLY, so I don't know what went down. Some heavy **** I think!


Issue 5 ended with LOKI appearing and with all the tv shows they did for Disney, it would have clicked.


Sadly, Marvel does make mistakes sometimes.
