that show for what it was was ok but Chris is talking about the traditional 10-12 year old Billy batson which will allow them to do a kid freindly show

Yeah, I watched the live-action and animated Filmation Shazam! shows, but the property is ripe for a family-friendly movie, animated series, toyline, you name it. Now is the time people!

and if they use the B&B as a template it can be corny and campy but not rediculously so like the old filmation show was (but it was directly aligned with the 50's CC beck comics which DC has been full on reprint mode with in the 70's)

Check your tv listings. Cartoon network airs these again at odd hours.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Damn Straight Chris. This is soooooooooo easy to sell to kids. One of the reasons the character always appealed to me was the fact that he was a kid who becomes a Superhero. As a Kid at the time i couldn't be Superman or Batman but I sure could be Captain Marvel.

My 3 year old daughter was watching it with me and she went absolutely nuts when she Saw Captain Marvel. She had been playing with my Mego Cap....but when she saw him and say Shazam! She loved it and started running around saying SHAZAM!!!

That character just has an incredible appeal that if tapped into with the way he was intended to be could be a big hit again.

I mean at one time in the 40's he outsold Superman for a reason......Wish they would finally give him a cartoon that reflected what makes him great.
