B&B May be outta continuty somewhat..., however the placement of Characters with-in the Stories are pretty Current as far as whats going on in the Books Today.. The Raven / Supergirl arc was very "Time line Today-ish" as well as the Phantom Stranger / Hal Jordan Arc..., I believe Hal even went as far as to have some Discussion in the Book about Himself Dying and Comming back to life again.
So,.. I think that this book WILL be somewhat in Continuty,.. & May be a Start indeed to Aquaman comming Back.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
The continuity of Brave and the Bold is not rock-solid....in fact, it never has been....that was part of the charm of the original B&B series....Batman could team-up with Wildcat (Earth-2), Sgt. Rock (World War II) and the Metal Men (Earth-1) at any given moment, with nary a thought given as to how that was even possible.

Well, Aquaman was in Wednesday Comics, so by your logic, that was the start of him coming back.
Was that in Continuty ?
The stories I read of the New B&B series were very much in Continuty, as far as they were up to date on the Lfe styles and Time Matters pertaining to a character.
But MayBe you are right,.. like Always.

They were definitely the "modern" versions of the characters but it wasn't an explicit continuity that totally jived with the mainstream DCU...it's just understated.
All of this talk has me wanting to dig out the Waid/Perez arc again and re-read it....the series seemed to flounder after they left. It's been interesting though since JMS picked up the book.
