They do that with everything, Justice League, Krypto, Superfirends, then this stuff is easily found in $5 bins a year later.

it'll be a typical kids wb no bonus feature 12.99 dvd for 4 episodes then maybe in a year or 2 they'll release a box set with some commentary. The when the show is off they air they'll repackage them all into 1 box set and do nothing to improve the prior version (see BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES, SUPERMAN ANIMATED SERIES, and JUSTICE LEAGUE full series box sets)

the good thing is fans are wising up and not buying sets like this but that may translate to the morons at WB that we aren't interested in the series so they won't put out a season set - I'm, still waiting on season sets for krypto, and LSH (or even a kids wb release of the rest of the series)

Fans are wising up but grandparents and kids aren't, I've got all kinds of these in my house!

I guess the release style is fine for kids, they don't care about commentary ot cut scenes etc, only games and it's low price point probalby does drive up the impulse buy/ bribery be quit purchases. If they break it no harm no foul you can rebuy the 1 disc instead of the full season (one of the "advantages" of vhs was kids had a harder time wrecking em) the problem is WB sould release the season in a reaonable time.
I was actually shocked wb issued clone wars season 1 was released after only 2 "4 episode" featurless disc volumes were put out.

Same here, I hate it when they release just a few episodes and a month later the whole thing comes out

I think there are some misinforming links on the WB home page calling B&B vol1, season 1, but I will chalk that up to poor editing not an intentional attempt to convince the uninformed to buy it (No way a corporation would lie on it's own website right?? )

Agreed. Love the series, hate the meaningless 4 episode releases. Give me a season 1 set.
                        Hey! Check out the pictures.
