    X-men Necosha

The New X-Force Book,.. Has got to be imo, the Best X-Men book In yrs. The set up for the Book is so Intense..., it's almost like watching some sorta Secret Ops Movie,.. with X-Men. The Plot get more & more Developed with Each Book,.. & the Stakes get Higher, with Plot Closure, however the Main story Keeps Kinda Going. It' s a Must read for me,.. is Chistopher Yost Is Briliant !

Well Here comes the Lastest X-Men Crossover..., I personally think it will be somewhat entertaining... The Black Queen Is Back,.. & ofcourse She Basically Wants the X-Men Dead, ofcourse. .. Well in Good Old Fashin comicbook Reality ,.. where when an Idea "Works" lets steal it, & or use it again this way..., The Black Queen is raising the Dead to Do so.

After reading Necosha,.. & X-Force 21...., These are Not Zombies that Aparently Drink Blood , rip people apart or are Even Frightening ..., they don't rip out hearts either..., However they are Dead, and are Controled By The Black Queen,.. Who used Caliban to find the Dead Bodies... In 1 of the Pics in Necosha...., for the 1st time in Like 30 yrs..., there was a Drawing of... THUNDERBIRD.

I dunno..., I am easily amused & Like stuff like this.

Is it the first Thunderbird or his kid? I think it was his kid. Honestly, I left the X-Men books when JR Jr. had his first run and didn't pick up an X-Boom until JW's Astonishing.
      Hey! Check out the pictures.

Everyone is always so Jazzed about the Astonishing Run ...., For me, Being pretty much a Life long X Fan..., I just thought it was ok,.. The Best thing about the book was bringing Colossus Back..., the Uncanny X-men Story arcs going on at the Time..., Particularly the Shir Empire & the Star Jammers arc,.. was so much more Captivating for me...

& X-Force is the Best X-men book in many yrs imo.

            Hmmmm....

Y'know.... this sort of thing SHOULDN'T be a real big deal in the Marvel universe, considering how many necromancer/sorcerers there are in it. (Especially since the 70's.) Thinkin' on it, I'm surprised enterprising bad guys don't do this every other month. Superpowered zombies would be cheaper than giant killer robots.... and there's no shortage of those!

The whole Black Ops X-Force thing doesn't excite me.....in fact the mutant population at Marvel hasn't thrilled me in several years. I've only dabbled with Grant Morrison's New X-Men, Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men and now recently Warren Ellis' Astonishing X-Men....but years ago I was a die-hard X-Men fan and bought everything that came out...which was a lot...I think that's part of the problem I have....for an underground team so-to-speak, the X-Men are freakin' everywhere.

I'm really surprised by the fact that I'm drawn to this new X-Men crossover, but Matt Fraction's run on Uncanny has really grown on me. I think he's the first writer who's really embraced the "Cast of Thousands" that's been the problem with the X-Men for the past decade and come up with some interesting devices to make it work.

Placing Emma Frost and Cyclops right at the center and heart of the "X-Nation" really gives a focus, with the rest of the dozens and dozens of characters rotating in and out of their orbit based around need and situation. I really am digging the device of having a quick caption for each character as they appear on the scene. I can only imagine how difficult it is to boil character down in two or three phrases, and for the most part Fraction has succeeded.

The Set up for Dark Avengers / X-Men cross over started out really good imo... But after reading it,.. I was somewhat Disapointed with the over all story telling... it wasn't really complete enough for me,.. from Book to book, I couldn't really find the Coninuty going from Book to Book that I wanted..., Then the Whole Dark X-Men is just a Waste of Time imo.

I also hate the Fact of Rogue Losing Her Ms Marvel Powers.

                      >is that Kitty? to the right?

....recognizable since she's the only Marvel character EVER without huge boobs....

REALLY?!?!?! I wonder if that was to bring her more in line with the movie version.... who (ironically) was pretty much Kitty Pryde.

For purely selfish reasons, I would like to see the Black Queen and Nekra have a bit of a catfight in Necrosha.

I thought the whole buddy with wolverine bit from the film was a lot like the 80's Wolverine/Kitty thing, and they'd substituted Rogue in 'cos at the time of the film she was super-popular. But then they added the REAL one; although she didn't do so much in the film.
