Did you buy a Yellow Ring this week with the free Doom Patrol comic?

Picked up the Sinestro ring today, wish they were giving these with the GL books and not this add-on stuff though. I don't care much for the Doom Patrol book myself. I do buy Booster Gold, but my local shop guy wouldn't buy into the ring program because he can't sell all these extra books DC was making them buy. I think he sells about 6 copies of Booster and there wasn't ANYONE buying Doom Patrol or Rebels he said. Booster's on my pull list there, so I guess I'll have to go buy another copy out of town to get the ring. The other titles for rings I don't normally buy. I've seen a set for $40 bucks on Ebay, but for that I may as well get the comics too. Of course, after the event is over, maybe the rings will be selling cheap?

I'm wondering if there will be a ring that gets short supplied to retailers? I can't imagine there not being something like that happen with Diamond being involved, the quality control there is of course so effective

I'd rather wait and see if they offer a set of rings later or if somebody sells the complete sets on Ebay after they're all done. I hate buying comics that I don't read to get the gimmic. Just sell the rings for a couple bucks.

I don't mind if the books are Blackest Night tie-ins. I've told them to pull any book needed to get the rings. Just haven't been buy yet to pick it up.

This is what my local comic shop is doing. They are selling just the set for like $5 or $6 without having to buy the comics. Couldn't pass it up.

I don't think my comic store even ordered enough copies of Doom Patrol to get the ring this week....

I have not picked it up yet..., if I will be able to get 1 , I dunno yet... Seems as if the Set might be the Best way to go in Achieving a completed set of these.... There was Only 3 Books I wanted Last week..., so I was waiting to see what this weeks offers were before I bought.

My Comicbook Guy always tells me, when I see him.. that Sales for Booster Gold and Secret Six always "up" from the Month Before... he sells outta copies, however seems to Always Have to Order more of the Next issue, so He seems to be increasing his order of the titles each month... I follow a bit of this Nonsense,.. Because I so Badly want these 2 books to Succeed,.. Not not get Canceled.

.. I dunno a Thing about Doom Patrol..., was looking for the Book to see if it was any good,.. but didn't find it, then Quickly got Destracted with some other BS..
