Robinson/Bagley take over JLA with #38...and number #39 goes right into...Blackest Night! I know you won't be able to resist another Blackest Night storyline BK.
... Last week in Diamonds Solicitations for thier "top 6 book picks" of the Week,.. they Had JLA #37 In the 6..., I take it, that's because of the new Creative team. If Robinson can write that book anywhere near as good as Cry for Justice..., I might be down anyways.
I dunno How Bagley is Boring..., He draws real Cartoony , & with the More so out there character's , his takes are inspiring to say the least.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
I always thought Bagley was a middle of the road Marvel artist... reliable, clean, Superhero Action. Good for stuff like his years on Amazing Spiderman, with the Maximum Carnage Crossover et al.
Then he started his monumental run on Ultimate Spiderman, and that was the game-changer for him IMHO. The focus on character and relationships in that title forced him to evolve into a much better artist. I can think of very few artists (maybe Terry Moore?) that would have been able to pull off an entire issue of a comic book that was basically Aunt May in therapy talking to a counselor and still have it read as a riveting experience. There was just so much more emotive elements he's evolved into his artistic style, with body language and facial nuances.

Looks Good to me... Kinda got a Champbell look to his DC Work,.. with real cartoony Faces, & real Animated Expressions... I dunno how that is boring, when you see & feel the character threw the Expressions on thier Faces.
