That is low considering the Turtles still have a media presence with a recent movie, and I think that latest toon is still running. That new fighting video game just came out too. Playmates is still making the toyline, the license is still alive.

Amazing that a garage-produced parody of Frank Miller's Ronin and Claremont's X-Men became a mega-franchise in the first place!!!

That's why I love Independent comics gives a chance for obscure Ideas to get out to the public and have a chance to be a hit.

I liked The Turtles from the jump and loved the B&W comics that Eastman and Laird put out....It was great when i years later introduced them to my son who loves them to this day....

Every nerd should look up to those two. Not only with the butt loads of cash they made but one even winds up with a Penthouse Pet as a wife. Now that's a great dream.

I'm still a fan of the Turtles to this day. I got hooked on the B&W comics. Even though they got soft they still have a place in my heart

The Turtles have passed that hump where they are pretty much eternally known to kids. My son isn't a huge fan, but he's seen most of the movies, watched the toons, and has a handful of toys. They've been in the media since the original toon and toyline hit over 20 years ago.

I was older I was so into them when that first line came out i couldn't pass them up. Still have them and both my son and daughter have played with them with little wear and tear!
