    Adventure Comics # 3

    Hey Guys,

So I just read this last night..
I for 1 am glad to see Conner back.., I was a big fan of his Super Boy Character once he joined the newly formed Teen Titans. His new book seems to be a little slower than I normally like, but it is nice to see the character finally Have to deal with some real-Life issues,.. and since he finally came back, I think he is addressing stuff that he probably wouldn't have before, however Johns is writting it..

This issue to me was great, because Conner & Tim finally came full circle face to face since Conner's death. It was great to see them interact with each other. I always loved the writing between the 2 in Teen Titans... They work well together, & are their own younger versions of Batman & Robin.

    Great read.

Comic colorists should have a limit on the amount of Photoshop filters they can use in one issue. That would help. Just because it's there, you don't have to abuse it!

I haven't read this, but I'm glad Conner and Tim are back together. The later TT writer's handling of Tim as being obsessed with reviving/recloning Conner was kind of disturbing. Get over the bromance already!

I personally prefer the old school coloring method myself.....computers bah!

Seriously though....I've been a little peeved lately with some Marvel reprints (some Thor and the recent Green Goblin Legacy spring to mind) where they're re-coloring with modern methods. It just doesn't sit well....

Its funny, I bought it for the coloring. It stood out from everything else. I first noticed his art in a few issues of Batman/Superman where the Titans were crossed with the JLA. Again, I bought that for the art and really enjoyed it.

I like the series a lot though. Looks like they're gearing up for more action.

I didn't think it was real Disturbing at all...,
It's kinda 1 of those things to me ,.. that is often thought about by people, or certain people out there..., I know the thought has crossed my mind a time or 2... If you could bring back a loved one, or a person that meant so very much to you,.. if the rescourses were actually there..., who wouldn't try ?

Tim did somewhat get over it..., however think about everyone that Dies around Tim..., He lost his Father, He lost his Girlfriend (now back) He lost Bart, & Conner ...., & then Ultimately lost Bruce "Quote" "UnQuote" ..., Sure Bruce is comming back,.. & Conner & Bart are already here..., But I think those Deaths , even short lived are pivital actions that Happened , that Ultimately make up Just Who Tim is Now.

Tim is probably the Best "Dectective" of all the Robins...., & He acts so Much Like Bruce,.. in some ways you would think He was Bruce. In his time as Robin ,.. he has encountered so Much Death of Loved Ones that meant something so much to him, that it has Spun his character into the "Darker" Robin,.. & it's almost like Tim is the Disguise now..., & Robin is actually the Person..., Similar to Bruce.

Tim is Only Human..., he has no special powers, to define his Super-Hero-izm..., with that being said, the Death's of the people close to him do define his character, and are important Facts to Who he is.

                    I like it.

Yeah, I get that. I just think they took it too far. I also hate that every writer going felt like they had to harden Tim more and more. My favorite period of Tim's career was during Chuck Dixon's long run on the solo Robin title. He didn't kill Tim's Dad off to make his job easier, he made him a vital supporting cast member and fleshed him and all of Tim's family and friends out. Of course Meltzer had to come in and throw all of that away. Sigh.

                        Agreed ...
But I do think it adds to his character representation..., or atleast what DC Keeps trying to pitch the Direction of the character to,.. & his exsistance in the DCU.
