byrne over kirby are you outta your mind. i also would take romita's short run on ff over byrne as well.

I wasn't a big fan of FF Byrne, not disputing Kirby's supreme rein in the '60s, but I came in with John Buscema (I spent most of a summer vacation back in '73 riding in the back of a Buick in AZ reading/rereading/rereading FF#138...), so he absolutely RULED for me..!

Byrne's art was good, but it's his writing on FF I had some trouble with. Loved him more on his Avengers efforts.

Definitely Agree with that...Kubert is also one of the best Cover artists around. Some of the covers he did for All-Star Squadron are my favorites in the series.

sadly we don't see many action figures that look like their straight outta the comic. i think dc direct has some lines like showcase and new gods; marvel needs to step their game up, i want kirby looking fantastic four.
