    Brave and the Bold cartoon question

    So;

    They just showed the story with Nemesis trying to redo the universe, and I'm wondering: is Nemesis a character from the comic? I ask 'cos this storyline reminded me a LOT of the Grey Man story from the 80's JLA comic.

    Are you in Canada? You guys are getting the new episodes, and us US folks aren't. It SUCKS!!!

    The only Nemesis that comes to mind is the guy who had a back-up in Brave and the Bold in the 80s and was then in the Suicide Squad. He was in the background on some JLU episodes, and Mattel made a JLU figure of him. Blonde guy with all black outfit, shoulder holster, and red and black "scales of justice" symbol on his left breast.

      According to the listing of episodes at Wikipedia, the villain should have been Equinox, who is apparently the B&B universe version of Libra (see JLA #111 (original series) or the recent Final Crisis).

        It was Equinox and we just got the Music Meister one yesterday, which was fun.

          >It was Equinox

          So.... what's the deal with his story being so similar to the Grey Man's....?

          >we just got the Music Meister one yesterday

          It was pretty good. I have a friend who does some acting and years ago he was running an RPG with a bad guy like this; and like the episode he wrote a number of songs which he performed at appropriate moments during the game.

            He's sort of a combination of LIbra and the Grey Man it seems. You're not going to see Grey Man on Saturday morning considering he harvests the dead.

              I can totally hear Bader saying, "It's not nice to harvest the dead, Grey Man." My son is depressed that he's seen all the episodes.

                I dunno.... you could weasel it in. After all they've had Deadman in an episode, and the Gentleman Ghost apparently ends up in hell.

                  True enough you probably could but it seems grey man's appearance is more suited to Smallville, B&B wants a costumed villain.

                    Yeah, he's not the most exciting bad guy; is he?

                        As I recall, the first Grey Man was wearing a member's only jacket and rocking the Pete Rose hairdo...

                          Yep, and they are promoting the crap out of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars this weekend. Hopefully the dimwits over there will schedule some new B&B after Star Wars gets going again. I don't want a repeat of the 1 year lag they gave us on JL seasons 1 and 2!

                            my fears exactly Chris

                            I am ok with them promoting clone wars to death at least it'sa freakin cartoon but they have way to many "reality" shows. or it's time to stop calling it the cartoon network
