this is only my opinion but as good as dc does better animation and marvel does better live action features.

I think the target audience might really take a shine to this. It's probably not meant to be anything more than a half-hour toy commercial, but I can see where this would be pretty appealing to 4-8 year olds and it is cool to see more comic related stuff coming out that is geared towards kids. Everything was so dark at one time that is nice to see them at least making an effort to make Superheroes appeal to the wee ones.

I saw the 1st 2 episodes. I Like it. Fun Stuff, way better than Ironman, or the new Wolverine & the X-men toon.

Wolverine and the xmen appeals to fans of the 90's men show on fox - same style and it seems to pics up design queues and plot from it. I didn't care for that show so this one isn't for me either

Iron man - very odd show seems to be trying to draw from the Ben 10/ pre-teen disney audience but just doesn't work maybe it's the computer animation I don't know

the super hero squad has a very small age window maybe 3-6 my 5 year old likes it but my 6 year old got bored and stopped watching. There are lots of corny jokes which are aimed at the comic fan parents watching with the kiddies (like all caps 30's and 40's references) but it's trying too hard with potty jokes for younger kids. bit my young ones love Brave & Bold and it's still fun for me to watch too

                  Hmmmm....

I dunno, it puts me in mind too much of this:

                  YouTube - Saturday Morning Watchmen

I survived the "...... Babies" cartoons of the 80's.... I don't want to do it again.

                  The horror.... the horror....

I was checking out some stuff OnDemand this morning, and click on this to see what it was all about. I'm sorry, I just couldn't stand any more than 5 mins. of this. It seems that a lot of modern cartoons are written as though all kids have attention deficit disorder. Do these adults who produce these things think so little of kids, that everything they watch has to move at the pace of a video game? Even the classic 6 min. Space Ghost or Birdman didn't do that!

Is it any wonder I stick w/ the classics?

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

                      >Do these adults who produce these things think so little of kids

A friend of mine who works in animation says the industry is run by people who hate cartoons.

                      >Even the classic 6 min. Space Ghost or Birdman didn't do that!

Well.... they DID; that was part of why they were 6 minutes long.

                      >the super hero squad has a very small age window maybe 3-6

Yeah, I can see that. It's REALLY kiddied up. Just like all them ".....Babies" cartoons. Even the ones that had no reason being kiddied up. (Anyone else remember "Little Rosie?" *Brrrrrr*)
