The Next DC Animated Film is a CRISIS Story!
I guess the next DC Animated Flick involves the Evil Earth, with the Crime Syndicate. Sounds interesting...but I'm not AT ALL happy about the voice casting.

Looks great. Interesting choice of the members. In the Earth 2 story, Martian Manhunter was in his traditional outfit and Kyle Rainer was the GL at the time. As far as the voice casting, I guess they didn't want to use Conroy and Daily too much. Especially in back to back features. I do like James Woods as Owlman though. He made a great villian in Hercules as Hades. -

Animation and designs for Owlman and Lex look really weak. Why do they have to use Jonn's last/current costume? And here I was hoping it was a retelling of the original story and not the more recent redo of it.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. It sounds like the Morrison/Quitely JLA:Earth 2 graphic novel is the main source.
Rats. I was hoping for old school JLA/JSA goodness.
It doesn't look bad though. I just wish they'd cast Conroy, Daly and Brown in every movie they did with the characters.

I don't like that Aquaman isn't shown anywhere, he had a small part in the book but it was pretty great, he took down Power Ring and Johnny Quick and it was one of my favourite aspects of the piece. I agree that the voice cast isnt the best choice. The animation looks kinda same old-same old too. After the first couple films in this series, I was hoping style would take a major role in the execution of each new project. Instead its quickly devolved into standard stuff. no better than the Lionsgate marvel films, or an eighties GI Joe cartoon."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

If they are going to do a (more or less) direct adaptation, I wish they would "copy from the source material." They did with New Frontier and the upcoming Public Enemies. Maybe this would have more excitement if it was based on Frank Quitely's art.Comment
