Fantastic Four getting a movie reboot?

Looks that way, based on this report. I wouldn't mind it if they did. But they would need to do some serious treatment adjustments. Namely the Thing and Dr. Doom. I always contended that the Thing should be CGI. He just never looked intimidating in that rubber suit. If they took the Jack Kirby 'Thing' and CGI'd him, that would look incredible. And Dr. Doom needs to be based more on his comic book origins, instead of the standard CEO/Norman Osbourn treatment which came across as very tired and uninspired. Plus the guy who played him delivered an almost camp performance, so I was never happy with him. Reed Richards also needs to be recast as someone who is not so aloof and more of a leader. I never felt like the current portrayal captured the essence of the character in the comics. Could be interesting if more faithful to the comics.

I sure hope they get a reboot...because it certainly NEEDS one! I like that Chris Evans said he play Johnny Storm again, if Chris Nolan Directed it.

Not a fan of the 1st 2 movies....all of this recent rebooting (ala The Hulk) is stupid....do it right the 1st time!

Yes please Reboot!! Those movies sucked....and no freeking Galactus Cloud or Doom going into space with them... That sucked!!!

I would rather the rights revert back to Marvel and they fold the FF into this movie universe their building.

I am also all for a reboot. I had high hopes for Rise of the Silver Surfer, but it just did not deliver. There was so much wrong with that film but the pink cloud planet eater they passed off as Galactus really pushed me away. I have always liked Galactus , and there was other ways they could have done him without making him a friggin pink haze of dust.
