With the advent off Ebay I had given up going to comic shows. Seemed like too many people living in the past with respect to what they could get for their books. Looking for things to do recently I decided to give them another shot. While there are still a few dealers who need to get with the times I've actually gotten some good deals on some early Amazing Spider-man back issues and I've never seen such a good selection in dollar boxes. Used to be mostly 90's stuff, last show howver there were plenty of late 70's, ealry 80's Marvel including FF, Hulk and Captain America. I'm back to going to at least one every month now.

I like to go. You can find some great reading material digging around the cheap bins these days, and filling out collections is a snap.
I prefer doing the comic shows to buying my comics online given the insane shipping costs most online retailers charge for Canada.Comment

Basically down here there is FX and Megacon, both overpriced shows. I used to be able to find small shows in Tampa at a Days Inn or something on Busch Blvd, but it seems like Ebay's killed the small shows. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. I've been passing on them lately, the great big fanexpo is a waste of money for me and their offshoot comic conventions, though sometimes free to enter, are little more than stores showcasing what Diamond has to offer that month.
Toronto had one comic con where they treat people nicely and even encourage children with a kid's area but it didn't happen this year sadly and now it's owned by Wizard.
I did go to Motor City this year but it was for the toys.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I've been to WonderCon and ComicCon, although not really for comics. I've had better luck at toy shows for the classics."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
