Jim Lee's DC Contract is up!

Chaykin only did the 4-issue mini-series. Sienkiewicz was the 1st artist on the on-going, followed by Baker. The delays came with Baker. Almost Camelot 3000-like if I recall.....

I seem to recall some lateness on Chaykin's part as well? Or am I misremembering?

It seemed like back then anything I really enjoyed reading had endless delays... Watchmen, Ronin, Dark Knight, Miracleman etc.

I remember the Watchmen and DK delays. Painful in the preinternet days, not knowing what happened to the books.

I remember Chaykin's Black Kiss being always late. That was a pain to collect...and the page count was cheap too.

I thought I was the only person on the planet who read The Bakers!!! It is great stuff. I'm also enjoying Special Forces a great deal.

Yup!! Great Stuff! Baker is one of my Favs shame the buying public I think doesn't get his humor or style.
