Bluewater is a company I avoid. They have some of the absolute worst artists...and on titles that otherwise sound great, stuff like the Ray Harryhausen books.
But read this about Bluewater, from Bleeding Cool News:

It explains a lot about why most of their books look like they were drawn by middle school art class students. I've checked out a few of their "biographical" comics as well, same sort of crap that you used to see from who was it, Revolutionary Comics, the Kiss & Elvis b&w, poor art on a mostly opinionated bio. How this company got the Harryhausen properties, or Shatner, or Vincent Price is beyond me. Of course, any money paid for the licensing comes out of the profits, which comes out of the creators' cut it would seem. Pretty sweet then, pay Shatner but never pay anyone who does the book, use 'em up and go find new ones.

That is just...blatant. They had to know EVERYONE would recognize that pose. They may have done it just for publicity.
