Seth Rogen's Green Hornet starts filming

I didn't realize Michael Gondry was now attached to this! It should make for a... Trippier Green Hornet shouldn't it?

Filming Commences on THE GREEN HORNET

While many thought “The Green Hornet” would never get made due to all the problems finding a director and Kato, thanks to a press release from Columbia Pictures, we know filming has actually begun!

I know some of you aren’t excited to see “Green Hornet” and to those…I’m sorry. Because any film directed by Michel Gondry is worth seeing and this is going to be the biggest budget he’s ever had. Come on…aren’t you a little bit curious? Anyway, I’ve posted the press release after the jump so take a look:

I was actually kind of looking forward to a more action-comedy oriented "Green Hornet Hustle" from Stephen Chow. But then again, as a kid Green Hornet for me was all about Bruce Lee.

I am, I think the movie will be cool. I was never really a big fan of the show but I do watch it occasionally if it is on TV Land or something.
