    Lobo movie

I just read this, Guy Ritchie to direct Lobo movie:

Guy Ritchie Set to Direct Lobo
    Source:Variety September 2, 2009

Warner Bros. Pictures has set Guy Ritchie to direct Lobo, a live action adaptation of the DC Comics title about an alien interstellar bounty hunter, reports Variety.

Don Payne wrote the most recent script draft, and Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Andrew Rona will produce. The film is a co-production between Silver Pictures and Weed Road.

In the film, says the trade, Lobo will be a seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled anti-hero who drives a pimped out motorcycle, and lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc. Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures.

Production on Lobo begins early next year. The studio is aiming for a PG-13 rating.

Hopefully they will decide to go for the R

"Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl"

That's all I needed to know. I think I'll pass. You want to make a Lobo movie? Go read the Paramilitary Christmas Special and make that!
    Hey! Check out the pictures.

A Lobo Movie Should Be Done In Space, Alien 4 Style.
Earth & a Teenage Girl Sounds Like Fragg'in Frag !
BTW... Ritchie is the Most Over-Hyped Director of Recent Times..., Snatch was Ok ,.. Everything After that Blew Frag !

There's so many other DC Comics characters I'd rather see get a movie before Lobo.....

AHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!! And along they way, the both learn something about life.... I can see the pitch meeting now: "So, it's like E.T. mixed with Rambo."

I am a huge DC fan but Lobo is a knockoff of Logan. I think this will be like the punisher a character that can work in comics and is a failure in Live action. he worked in the Joke League deamiatas as a supporting character I never thought he was strong enough for a lead.

Anyone else think they should send a cheque to Keith Giffen given the fact that this is his high concept for the little seen Drax the Destroyer miniseries leading into Annhilation? Four Alien Fugatives... Teenage Girl. Ah, but they got a motorcycle and Drax has GREEN skin!

I'm sure Disney-Marvel's lawyers will be looking into it!

(yes, I know Keith Giffen created Lobo as well and is probably rolling around in his royalties anyways!)

I think he is a light blue or white depending on who is coloring him.

if the script is good like hellboy was he could make it watchable - he's certainly ugly enough
