George Reeves vs Christopher Reeve Superman

I couldn't fit the other choices

My question is which SUPERMAN is the strongest ?

    Kirk
    George
    Filmation
    Superfriends
    Christopher
    Dean
    Smallville
    Returns
    other ?

I would say it's a toss-up between Christopher Reeve and Superfriends Supey.

    What do you think ?

Probably Christopher Reeve....his Supes was pretty strong and had the necessary stamina to counterspin the earth's rotation to turn back time. The Brandon Routh Supes in Superman Returns is basically the same Superman as Reeves (by extension) and he was able to lift that Kryptonite island or whatever and hurl it into space.

George Reeves, besides crashing through walls and banging crooks heads together, pretty much did basic circus strongman tricks....

I don't think the Superfriends version was really that powerful....he had to rely on non-powered Batman and Robin and lame-powered Aquaman to help take care of most of the badguys in the early episodes.... He should have been able to handle most of that crap by himself....

Christopher Reeve in a wheelchair still trumps Brandon Routh's Deadbeat Dad Superman any day.

I think to a certain generation Reeve will always be THE Superman. Although I've chatted with folks who are my Dad's age who insist that George Reeves will always be THE Superman. There are kids today to whom Tom Welling will always be THE Superman.

George Reeves was no slouch and did do more then just circus stongman tricks --- see Panic in the Sky.

But on the other hand, George had trouble bopping an asteroid ... while Chris could move the entire Moon (Superman-4)

George still holds a place in my heart!!!
When I was a kid I grew up on the old B&W supes then later onto christopher and he was superman but watching george bust through a wall still looks cool.

I still remember getting my first home movie camera back in 1977 and me and my buddies making our own version of a Superman movie --- of course based on the George Reeves Superman

Chris also holds a spot in my heart because (I've mentioned this before) my class trip to New York City was at the same time Superman The Movie was being filmed ... We went to the Daily News building and it was all done up as The Daily Planet.
The Daily News tour guide told us "The New Superman movie will be filming here next weeK"
It was a fantastic coincidence our class trip to the Daily News was at the best time ever

Well, since the comic in the 1970's had him at his strongest, then I'd say the Chris Reeve version would be the strongest, too.
                It's all good!

I think Mike (Type1Kirk) meant strongest as in physically and literally the strongest muscle-wise Superman.

George Reeves' Superman ducked guns thrown at him by the bad guys when they ran outta bullets for Christ's sake...

                          I see it this way

Kirk Alyn is The Golden age Superman....the movie screens first Superman and Grandpops Superman

George Reeves The Silver age Superman....The Classic and Dad's Superman

Christopher Reeve- The Modern Superman.......Our Superman

Dean Cain- The ***? Superman Little man trying to put on Big boy's boots

Tom Welling- Elseworlds Superman.......I have no clue who i am Superboy/man?

Brandon Routh- The lost/wanna be Chris Reeve cause Bryan Singer is a dick and couldn't do his own version of Superman.....
