I couldn't find a local dealer who had the Black Ring (or at least had any extras over his subscriber base). My local guy only recieved a single ring from DC.
So I don't expect to grab any of these- they'll probably be like $100 bucks a set on Ebay by Christmas. Maybe DC will have some available at some of the bigger conventions.

            Here's the news story:

This is cool. I'll have to talk to my LCS and see about how I can get a set. I didn't have a problem getting the Black Lantern ring.

I would believe you can get the rings if you buy the issues your retailer has to order in order to get the incentive rings... particularly if you pre-order them with the expectation of getting a ring.

I noticed they were giving away rings at SDCC, so I would assume that the rings can be had on the convention circuit as well.

I just checked my black ring, and it appears to be all black as well. So it looks like completists will need to get another black ring for the set.

Anyone remember the Green Lantern rings they gave out about a decade or more ago? It was a ring shaped like the GL logo IIRC, not enclosed in a circle. Harder plastic and higher quality than the Black Lantern rings I've seen so far. (the center might have even glowed in the dark, but that just might be me misremembering)
