Wishful thinking but it'd be nice if they could restore the Captain Marvel name in the title of the movie somewhere.....The Big Red Cheese got swiped of his rightful heritage by some young upstart from Kree years ago.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

^ Even more so when you consider the fact that his Alter Ego mag from Twomorrows often has a flip-side with Captain Marvel/Fawcett stuff...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I think this is kind of Like Bob Mundas (the fisherman quint in jaws was modelled on) becoming a shark preservationinst in his later years. Roy was a fan of the golden age but it was later he became the champion of all things dc pre 1950) when he was finacnially secure in his careerComment

You can't blame Marvel for wanting a character named Captain Marvel. The blame goes to the company that had dibs on the character but didn't secure the rights.Comment

I hope this comes to pass and we can finally see Cap on the big screen with all the light heartedness of the Comic book not some dark character. I personally would love to see the movie set in the 40's not in the modern age. I loved Jerry Ordway's Graphic Novel. I thought that really told Cap's tale well.Comment
