    Is Dr Strange part leopard??

I've been wondering about Dr Strange's hands & the leopard pattern typically shown on them: Is he wearing gloves? A side effect of magic use? Tattoos?
I know that his hands had been damaged, ending his career as a surgeon, which is when he started with magic. I don't recall it being addressed in the stories, maybe I missed something. Does anyone in the MM know the answer?

It's Because Stan Lee actually has a Pair of them Gloves, When He created the Character, he went to his Dresser For Inspiration .

Ditko had a fondness for drawing spots on things. Look at almost all of his DC work, and his Charlton comics character Static...spots everywhere!!!

Yeah, them are Ditko spots on some gloves. Kirby had dots.

Stan did look a bit like Brunner's Dr. Strange when he wore that bad toupee in the 70s!
