I really liked it. These DC movies have really been getting better and better. WW was really good too but I have to agree this is the best one so far.

The outfit actually looked less armored than the promo pix I saw.

I loved that they added the Duck Dodgers episode too. I had no idea that Sinestro was voiced by John de Lancie. I've missed Q.

I think this is an awesome animated film! As good - if not better - than New Frontier. As good as Batman: TAS. Not sure why there hasn't been a Green Lantern Animated series...(Minor Spoiler: when Sinestro gets his new ring - the yellow lantern looks very cool!) I'm really looking forward to the Public Enemies movie September 29th. I'll have to dig out the issues of Superman/Batman, or pick up the trade between now and then and re-read it...The characters and voices for it look very cool!

I noticed that Best Buy only had a limited number of figure sets - like four. They were all gone when I got there after work...

I just watched it. I thought it was dang good, yes, but I still think I like
the WONDER WOMAN one better---is it just me or was GL:FF
a bit heavy on the action sequences?

Unlike with the WW movie, I found myself wanting to fast forward
through the action sequences at one point during the flick.

And...I admit...I'm more of a WONDER WOMAN fan---
it was "close" competition between the two actual movies
---I'll say really loved the KANJAR RO characterization in FF by the way--
                  -altho' I might have prefered
the great KURTWOOD SMITH playing SINESTRO instead...I bet
the casting people thought a bit about that too.

Leave it to Hue to complain about too much action in a comic book cartoon.

I loved it, just a hair more then WW, but JL Final Frontier is still #1
Looking for Infinite Heroes Robin and Catwoman
                      And Super Powers Batman

Finally picked it up and watched it today. I can't say I liked it better than WW of Final Frontier but it was still very good. I was surprised at how fast the movie went by for me.

Dang straight...when you start looking at your watch...that's a bad sign in ANY movie.

And I'll also reiterate something I've said in the past about superhero movies
in general--I'm VERY particular over them....they are far from my favorite
kind of movie, so it should be no surprise that I have different views from the
typical comicbook geek mentality. And I sure have enjoyed animated
superhero stuff over live-action on the whole.

I've enjoyed a lot of the animated superhero fare that's come out
in the 90s and 2000s----but most of that have been shorter pieces---when
you're making an 80, 90 minute movie you have more room to do great stuff-
--but there's also the possibility of screwing it up more. I thought
GL:FF lagged more than let's say the WONDER WOMAN movie
or BB's RETURN OF THE JOKER (another one of my animated movie favorites)

Uh...no...I would have preferred it if the mostly predictable action scenes
didn't drag on as long as I thought they did.

Nice try to "totally" dissolve any basis for my reasoning...
but you DO realize there IS such thing as a "middle ground".
                                Right?

"A tighter battle" is more of what I'm loking for than "tea and scones", eh?

AGAIN....I thought the GL:FF was pretty dang good...NOT as good
as the WW movie...and one reason I was thinking that I thought
so was that the action scenes in the GL movie were lacking
a bit in finesse compared to WW.

                                I didn't say they stunk...

I said they were a bit overdrawn is all..is that so hard for you all to accept?

Or do you have your noses so permanently glued to someone's green butt that it hurts to hear outside opinions, even if they are mostly positive?

And who knows Toyroom---maybe after you actually WATCH the movie
you might even *gasp* understand where I was coming from if not agree
                                with me.
