I was doing some googling for some Green Lantern Images over the last week,.. & there is quite a few images of Tyrese Gibson next to John Stewart Images....


I liked the Thought of that, personally. Every movie I have scene him in,.. I like his parts,.. & think he does a Good Job...

Deadpool is a 3rd Rate X-Men character .... Green Lantern is A all the Way,.. Renolds could do both,.. but would be Better as the Crap Talking Flash imo. His character in Blade Trinity Proved that imo.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo! I won't even see the film if that puke is in it. These heroes need to be played by competant actors, not gossip magazine stars. We already saw that experiment fail with George Clooney. If they tag his name to the project, that will eliminate any real interest in the subject and they'll be lucky to get Daredevil numbers. Your notoriety as a star can't bleed through the portrayal of a hero. Green Lantern only wears a little mask and Timberlake's face would take away any believability because it would be so obvious, it would be a joke.

Cooper is due to start filming the A-Team shortly (he's the new Face) so I cant see this happening unless the schedules dont conflict somehow?

Being a Canuck, I guess I would say Reynolds if I had to pick one of the three. I heard they were looking at the guy from Firefly (Captain Reynolds)..he would have been ok.

If its Timberlake....eech. No thanks. I dont care for his music, and I dont think he can act either...hes a "celebrity" in the same vein as Paris Hilton. They arent actually good at anything, but they just wont go away!

Agreed. As singers-as-actors go, he's decent. But I can't see him in a super-heroic role at all.

I know it's just me, but I would like to see Jensen Ackles as Hal.

I haven't seen Cooper in a heroic role yet, but I know he can pull of cocky well. I just wanted to reach through the screen and choke him in Wedding Crashers (which is what he was going after). If he could temper that, he'd make a good Hal.

I keep hoping Reynolds will get cast in a Flash movie. He was up for it when Goyer was involved. But now that he's played Deadpool and signed up for a spin-off, I doubt it's going to happen. Besides, any Flash movie now would be about Barry probably, and Reynolds is more of a Wally-type.

I can take Reynolds, although he's already Deadpool. Cooper is actually someone I expected. After "The Hangover" blew up, I told my wife he'd be a good candidate for GL.

But Timberlake...I'd rather have Jack Black!!!

Were one of the Jonas Brothers unavailable for consideration?
