Would fans have accepted Tim Drake as Blue Beetle?

Given the recent shuffles around the Bat-verse, how would you feel if Tim Drake had decided to become the new Blue Beetle?

Would you have preferred Tim Drake over Jamie Reyes, the current Blue Beetle?

I'm sure you knew this, but Chuck Dixon WAS going to have Tim become the new BB briefly. It was while he was using Ted over in BoP and some other Bat-titles. He was going to have Stephanie/Spoiler become Robin for a bit. The idea got canned after it had progressed pretty far I believe. It's one of the reasons Dixon left DC and went to CrossGen. Then DC turned around and made Steph into the new Robin, and promptly killed her in one of the dumbest moves ever.

It would have been cool to have seen him as BB temporarily, but I like him as Robin. And not Red Robin either!

I Also Have never Accepted the New Beetle,.. & to me the Idea of Drake as the Beetle it pretty Stupid.

However....

Because of the Recent Brave & the Bold Cartoon,.. I have a Different outlook on the character,.. & Like Him Now too. I like How he is written there...

Also,.. the Last 2 Issues of Teen Titans Have a New Direction,.. & He is on the Team... I like him on the Team,... & also Very Much like how is character has been written thus Far too.

So I guess,.. I have finally accepted him,.. & Like Him too.

I think After the Arc In Booster Gold,... from Johns & Jurgens ... Where Ted Kord Showed up,... then went away,.. I finally Also Accepted Kord's Death,.. Thus my Mind Finally has room for the New Beetle.

I honestly would have hated Tim as the new Blue Beetle. So I'll pass. Of Course I liked him having hios DNA Rewritten by the Joker in Batman Beyond. LOL.
